These days I spend a good deal of time in our woods and gardens, which greatly informs most of my current work. I wander around the herb garden smelling, tasting, and gathering for food and health; select patterns, linen, and vintage fabrics for sewing into pretty and useful things; think up ways to use all that beeswax (so much beeswax); and blend Bach Flower Essences in to formulas that help balance the emotions. I share Juice Plus+ as a valuable nutritional support (love it!). And I write to inspire, uplift and bring joy.
For more than 20 years I’ve been a manual therapist and hold an Upledger CranioSacral Therapy techniques certification as well as Reflexology certification and a Massage Therapy license. Though I no longer support a full-time practice, I sometimes see clients seeking CranioSacral Therapy for health and wellbeing, and that includes as many four-legged clients as human.
And when I am not busy (rest is important for health) I spend time with the BeeKeeper, or my cat, or reading, or with friends and family, or taking naps. Napping, in my opinion, is not only a healthful respite but also a form of recreation!
So come along on this wooded path into a rural, earthy, natural way of living and all the work and love that goes into it. Learn, rest, smile, find things that help you stay well, and perhaps spark an interest living a deeper simpler life.
